This lesson is a retelling activity where students can speak common facts about natural wonders of the world to each other using superlative adjectives.
I. Objectives: After this lesson the students would be able to:

Using Superlative Adjectives
Materials: Copy of;
- Natural Wonders of the World
- Student activity sheet, superlative fact card
- Superlative Quiz
III. Procedure/ Activities
A. Pre-Activity
1. Vocabulary Preview (15 wonders of the world)
2. Have the class read the natural wonders and then in groups and then by selected students.
B. Activity Proper
1. Give each student a fact card and then tell them to memorize the numbers and to remember the additional information about the natural wonders.
2. After the students have been given time to memorize the fact cards, take away the fact cards and distribute the students’ activity sheet.
3. Discuss the lesson with the “Framework” of the Natural wonders using superlative adjectives
4. Instruct the students to go around and talk their classmates and exchange information about natural wonders of the world.
5. When the students are finished exchanging information, tell them to review their activity sheet.
6. Have three to five students retell in class the information they gathered about the natural wonders.
IV. Assessment/Evaluation:
1. Give students the quiz on natural wonders of the world using worksheet on
“Superlative Quiz”
2. Instruct the students that they are supposed to answer the questions using superlative adjectives and complete the sentences.

*Finding an accurate measure for the width of the Amazon River was difficult as varying authoritative sources gave different measurements. I went with the one that seemed the best, but in the end this exercise is more concerned with how well students convey the information they have (though it is also hoped the information is accurate as well).
